Role overview
U-Haul is looking for a Facility Housekeeper in Omaha, Nebraska. This role helps create a clean, welcoming environment that supports the company’s service standards. It is a full-time, on-site position suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
There is also a hiring incentive for new team members, and eligible hires may be able to begin earning pay immediately.
What you’ll do
- Keep storage areas, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and similar spaces clean by sweeping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and mopping.
- Remove and discard trash as needed.
- Monitor cleaning supplies, keep inventory organized, and request replenishment when stock runs low.
- Take on additional related tasks as assigned.

Work environment
This position may involve moderate hazards or discomforts, including work around moving machinery or parts, fumes, and irritating chemicals. Safety precautions are important, and protective equipment such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical requirements
The job can involve extended periods of standing still, moving around outdoors, reaching items at different heights, and handling equipment that may weigh at least 50 lbs, either with or without assistance.
