Flexible Hours Nanny

Role Overview

Jovie is looking for a warm, energetic, and experienced nanny to support different families with the care of infants and toddlers. The work is typically scheduled Monday through Friday during standard daytime hours while parents are at work. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys being active, communicative, and child-centered, and who has prior experience caring for children in settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycares, preschools, or church nurseries.

Compensation

• Base pay is $20 to $22 per hour.
• Overtime is paid at $30 to $33 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers in family homes.
• Keep children engaged through play, reading, arts and crafts, and similar age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and team members.
• Work in active, child-focused environments and handle cleanup after activities.
• Support safe outdoor play when weather conditions allow.
• Respond quickly and calmly to everyday and urgent childcare situations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on infant care experience.
• Availability for at least five days per week, with shifts of 6 to 9 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for commuting to assignments.
• Ability to provide 3 references: 2 related to child care experience, paid or unpaid, and 1 character reference.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable with an active work environment that includes lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and cleanup.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Ability to move to and from the floor multiple times during the day.
• Ability to react quickly and handle urgent situations safely and calmly.
