Role overview
Haus is looking for a skilled freelance Designer to join its Los Angeles team. In this role, you’ll contribute to a variety of digital creative projects and partner closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Senior Designers to shape concepts, improve executions, and deliver refined assets for both static and video formats.
The role suits someone with a solid command of design fundamentals, an interest in how digital products and experiences are constructed, and a desire to grow in a collaborative studio environment.
What you’ll do
- Create digital design assets, visual directions, and production-ready materials for a range of client assignments.
- Work with Art Directors and Senior Designers, incorporating feedback and strengthening concepts as the work progresses.
- Help develop moodboards, style frames, storyboards, and early-stage concept explorations.
- Stay curious about UI, motion, and interaction design, even when these are not the main focus of the task.
What you’ll bring
- 2–4 years of professional design experience, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates versatility and strong craft.
- Hands-on proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- A strong grasp of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- An understanding of motion and UI, including how digital experiences function as well as how they appear.
- A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for learning and producing high-quality work.
