We are seeking a motivated entry-level Data Analyst to join the analytics function on a full-time, onsite basis in Australia. This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to start building a career in data analysis.
In this role, you will work with business data to uncover useful insights, support reporting activities, and contribute to better decision-making across the organization. The position calls for someone who is naturally curious, highly attentive to detail, and comfortable working with numbers and data.
Key responsibilities
Your work will involve handling data from multiple sources and helping ensure that it remains accurate, consistent, and well-organized. You will assist in identifying trends, patterns, and potential business opportunities through analysis of datasets.
You will also help create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations for stakeholders, monitor important KPIs, carry out ad hoc analysis, and support ongoing analytics and reporting projects. Collaboration with different teams will be part of the role, including understanding business needs, documenting analytical steps, and turning findings into practical recommendations.
Skills and knowledge
The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical and critical thinking ability, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in data-driven work. Good communication, organization, and time-management skills are important for sharing insights and working effectively with others.
Excel proficiency is required. Experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Google Sheets, Python, R, or similar analytics and visualization platforms would be an added advantage.
