Overview
Envertiz Consultancy is recruiting for a long-established GP practice in London. This opening is suited to healthcare professionals who want to work in a collaborative, patient-centred environment and continue building their experience in primary care.
Role Summary
As part of the clinical team, you will contribute to the smooth running of a busy GP practice while delivering safe, effective, and patient-focused care. The post involves close cooperation with senior doctors and practice colleagues, along with involvement in service improvement and governance work.
Key Duties
- Deliver high-quality consultations and primary care support across in-person and remote appointments.
- Carry out triage, review test results, manage correspondence, and handle medication reviews and prescriptions.
- Support safeguarding responsibilities and wider clinical decision-making.
- Take part in governance, audit, quality improvement, and compliance work linked to QOF and CQC.
- Assist with home visits, reports, meetings, and participation in the on-call rota, excluding out-of-hours cover.
- Work with the Practice Manager and clinical leads to improve patient experience, service performance, and ongoing development.
- Maintain professional standards in line with GMC expectations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is a committed clinician with a strong focus on excellent care and sound primary care practice. You should be an experienced GP who is comfortable working within modern general practice systems and frameworks.
Additional Requirements
You must be fully registered with the GMC, listed on the NHS performers list, and currently working in primary care. MRCGP or an equivalent level of training and experience is preferred. A solid grasp of QOF, local and enhanced services, and other performance indicators is important, along with accurate clinical coding ability. Experience with SystmOne or EMIS Web would be a clear advantage.
