Key Duties

• Clean guest rooms to a consistently high standard, including making beds, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Finish assigned cleaning work within the time allocated by the business.
• Work alongside teammates to achieve daily housekeeping targets and broader operational objectives.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines at all times.
• Use cleaning tools, machines, and products correctly and safely; full training and equipment are supplied.
• Build professional and respectful working relationships with guests, colleagues, and contractors.

Shift Pattern

The roster rotates from Monday through Sunday. Start times are generally between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, though this may change.

Pay Details

Hourly pay is listed below, excluding superannuation: Monday to Friday: $32.31 per hour; Saturday: $38.78 per hour; Sunday: $45.24 per hour.

Candidate Profile

The employer is looking for applicants with prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, though this is not mandatory. A strong eye for detail, a practical understanding of safe chemical and equipment use, physical stamina for repetitive tasks, clear communication, time management skills, and a positive, proactive attitude are important. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is also required.
