Role overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper for a long-term care setting in Aiken, SC. In this role, you will help keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors. HCSG values service, quality, and a positive resident experience, and is looking for someone who wants to contribute to that mission.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine housekeeping work each day, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas by following company procedures and safety standards.
• Track completed cleaning activities and inform the supervisor about maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Apply infection-prevention practices and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact courteously with residents, employees, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Handle other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Prior housekeeping work is desirable, though not mandatory.
• A constructive attitude and the ability to communicate well with residents, management, and HCSG leadership are important.
• Candidates must follow COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• The job requires the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• You should be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• The work involves continuous repetitive tasks.
• Comfort with working around cleaning chemicals is necessary.
• You must be able to follow spoken and written directions and complete repetitive daily work.
• Residency in the service area is required.
