Role Overview

The HR Generalist supports the everyday functioning of the Human Resources department at EWC Growth. Acting as a key link between HR Operations and Employee Relations, this role helps keep HR workflows organized, compliant, and efficient while contributing to a constructive employee experience. The position includes administrative HR support, employee engagement work, HR record management, and coordination across multiple HR initiatives. What You’ll Do

  • Deliver administrative and operational assistance to the Head of HR and the wider HR function.
  • Keep employee files, HR records, and personnel documentation properly organized and aligned with company policy and compliance expectations.
  • Support HR reporting, data maintenance, tracking tasks, and accurate updates in HR systems.
  • Help administer HR policies, procedures, and internal processes.
  • Assist with intake, documentation, and coordination for employee relations matters.
  • Prepare materials related to corrective action, policy acknowledgments, and HR investigations.
  • Coordinate meetings connected to employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and HR follow-ups.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR administrative, HR coordinator, or HR generalist capacity.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Multi-state experience is required, along with exposure to retail or hospitality environments.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once.
  • Strong discretion and comfort handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
