Role Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and coordination support across several HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration, employee record management, and execution of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange pre-hire steps such as background screening, drug testing, and employment paperwork.
- Support new hire onboarding by completing paperwork, coordinating orientation, and helping set up employee profiles.
- Handle employee exits in line with state-specific offboarding requirements.
- Prepare HR information and present it to new employees during orientation.
- Keep employee information current and accurate within the HRIS platform.
- Update employee records for actions such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and other personnel changes.
- Work professionally with teams and partners such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Information Technology.
- Build reports and assist with data analysis when needed.
- Protect the accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
- Maintain electronic personnel files in accordance with recordkeeping rules.
- Assist with record retention and disposal tasks.
- Respond to employee requests for employment-related information and documents.
- Help roll out and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Support compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
- Handle and respond to unemployment insurance claims.
- Assist with HR audits and reporting obligations.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of HR processes, experience with HRIS tools, and comfort using Microsoft Office. The role also calls for excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, discretion with sensitive data, strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws is an added advantage.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent work experience may also be considered.
Experience
Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in HR coordination, administrative support, or a similar position.

The role supports remote work.
