Role overview
CAL Bangladesh is seeking an entry-level IT Support Test QA Analyst for a full-time onsite role in Australia. This position is well suited to recent graduates and early-career candidates who want to build experience in software testing, technical support, and quality assurance.
The role combines hands-on testing with support and validation work. You will help confirm that applications behave as expected, assist with technical troubleshooting, and contribute to product quality across releases and enhancements.
What you will do
- Run manual test cases and check whether the software works as intended.
- Log, track, and clearly document defects found during testing.
- Confirm fixes after issues are resolved and validate that changes do not create new problems.
- Assist with testing of new features, system improvements, and application updates before they go live.
- Partner with developers, business analysts, and support teams to recreate issues and verify resolutions.
- Support user acceptance testing and help ensure deliverables match business expectations.
- Maintain testing records and other QA documentation.
- Provide help with troubleshooting software-related issues and contribute to process and quality improvements.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should have a basic grasp of software development and testing fundamentals. Prior exposure to manual testing, bug tracking tools, test case preparation, and QA workflows is helpful.
Knowledge of web applications, databases, Microsoft Office, and introductory SQL will be considered an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, close attention to detail, and clear communication are essential for success in this role.
