Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Riyadh Region. The Junior Architect will assist with architectural design and project development by producing drawings, 3D models, and supporting documentation under senior supervision. The role includes helping shape early concepts, taking part in design reviews, working closely with project teams, and making sure designs align with local regulations and technical standards. The position also calls for regular coordination with engineers and other stakeholders to help connect design intent with construction execution, while keeping project records current as changes are made. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing architectural concepts and translating ideas into practical design outputs.
- Prepare architectural drawings, 3D visuals, and related documentation with guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in design discussions and reviews, and incorporate feedback into updated deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and other contributors to support smooth project execution.
- Help ensure design work follows applicable local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Update drawings and documentation as designs progress and project details change.
- Support the connection between design development and construction implementation.
Requirements
- Strong grounding in architecture and architectural design, including awareness of building codes, design principles, and construction techniques.
- Working understanding of software and integration concepts relevant to architectural workflows, including BIM-based tools and interoperability between design applications.
- Basic exposure to project coordination, deadline tracking, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in common design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent software.
- Excellent technical drawing and visualization ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and accept feedback.
- Capability to work on-site in the Riyadh Region and adjust to changing project needs.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience in architecture or construction is beneficial.
