This is a remote, part-time opening for an early-career Junior Data Analyst. The role focuses on handling datasets, uncovering useful patterns, and turning raw information into practical insights that support business decisions.
What you'll do
- Gather, clean, and organize data for analysis.
- Examine data sets to spot trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain data models as needed.
- Prepare reports and summaries for different teams.
- Support informed, data-led decision-making across the organization.
- Help keep data accurate and consistent.
- Carry out statistical analysis to evaluate results and relationships.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a simple and clear format.
Qualifications
- Good analytical thinking and hands-on understanding of data analysis.
- Solid grasp of statistics and the ability to apply statistical methods.
- Ability to develop and use data modeling approaches.
- Strong communication skills for explaining findings and insights.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related subject is an advantage.
