Junior Detailer

About the role

Carma is a digital pre-owned vehicle dealership on a mission to transform how Australians buy cars. The business brings together engineering, marketing, buying, and reconditioning teams in-house to create a smoother and more enjoyable customer experience. This Junior Detailer position sits within the Automotive Production department in Sydney and is a permanent full-time opportunity.

What you’ll do

• Prepare vehicles to a high standard by washing, drying, and detailing them carefully.
• Clean and organise interiors so cars are ready for delivery or photography.
• Support broader reconditioning tasks such as polishing, stain removal, and vehicle movement.
• Contribute ideas that help improve day-to-day processes and efficiency.
• Work with care and precision so every vehicle leaves in a polished, presentable condition.

About you

• You do not need previous detailing experience, but you should be eager to learn about cars and the automotive sector.
• You hold a valid NSW driver’s licence; the ability to drive manual vehicles is considered an advantage.
• You have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.
• You are motivated to build your skills and grow on the job.
• You can stay effective in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.
• You are dependable, on time, and committed to doing the job well.

Working arrangement

This is a full-time role, scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and based at Carma’s St Peters site in Sydney.
