Laundry Valet

About the Role

Al Ain Rotana is seeking a motivated and energetic Laundry Valet to support guest laundry services at its Al Ain property. The role is centered on ensuring laundry and dry-cleaning requests are handled promptly, accurately, and to a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and return guest laundry and dry-cleaning items efficiently.
• Collect laundry bags from guest rooms and confirm the guest name, room number, and number of pieces recorded.
• Verify all items against the laundry and dry-cleaning lists, including collection and delivery timings and any special notes.
• Immediately report any valuables or other items discovered in clothing pockets.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage and take the necessary corrective action.
• Handle outside guest laundry and dry-cleaning collections and deliveries, and support the marker when needed.
• Deliver guest items on time and in a polite, professional manner.
• Help with loading and unloading dryers and sorting cleaned laundry.
• Support stock counts and attend training sessions as scheduled.

Requirements

• Vocational training in laundry operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar laundry service role is required.
• Strong English communication skills are needed.
• A friendly, positive attitude and service-oriented approach are essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Good attention to detail and sound judgment in handling guest items.
