The analyst will work with investment professionals across the complete acquisition and ownership cycle for investments in the Americas and Europe. The position provides exposure to a wide variety of notable deal types, including management buyouts, take-private transactions, add-on acquisitions, roll-up strategies, restructurings, recapitalizations, and exits.

Key responsibilities

• Spot, assess, and prioritize appealing investment themes and opportunities across sectors and regions.
• Develop and sustain relationships with management teams, senior advisers, and outside industry specialists.
• Carry out detailed due diligence on potential investments.
• Assist with financing, deal structuring, and transaction completion.
• Create, track, and execute value creation plans across the existing portfolio.
• Support every stage of the investment process as a core member of the deal team.

Skills and experience

• 1–2 years of experience with a top-tier investment bank, consulting firm, corporate, private equity house, or alternative asset manager.
• A bachelor’s degree or similar qualification, backed by strong academic and professional performance.
• Strong ability in quantitative analysis, financial modelling, structured thinking, and problem solving.
• High integrity, a strong sense of ownership, and real interest in private equity investing.
• Capability to handle several priorities and deadlines while staying resourceful.
• Excellent spoken and written communication; knowledge of a European language is beneficial.
• Comfort applying analytical and investment judgment across different industries and geographies.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions, and take initiative.
• Strong people skills and the ability to build trust with a range of stakeholders.
