Role overview
This contract role is focused on supporting private equity research work that feeds into investment decisions. The work is remote and centered on producing rigorous analysis, modeling, and written outputs for deal evaluation and market assessment.
Compensation and schedule
The assignment pays $130 per hour and is expected to require at least 10 hours each week. It is a remote contract engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Create and improve financial models that help guide investment decisions.
- Draft clear investment memos and concise analytical summaries.
- Carry out market sizing work, including total addressable market analysis.
- Review deal-related documents such as CIMs and due diligence materials.
- Assist with deal sourcing by researching and screening potential opportunities.
Core requirements
- Solid understanding of private equity deal processes and how investment decisions are evaluated.
- Proven skill in building financial models and organizing analysis in a structured way.
- Ability to interpret transaction documents and diligence materials accurately.
- Strong written communication skills for turning complex analysis into clear insights.
- Ability to deliver reliably in independent, project-based work settings.
Additional strengths
- Prior exposure to legal documents or NDA-related paperwork in transaction settings is helpful.
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to turn scattered information into practical conclusions are valued.
