Job Summary

The Produce Clerk supports the produce department by wrapping items, stocking merchandise, and keeping the area clean and sanitary according to company standards. The role also helps maintain smooth department operations when the Produce Manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Handle, stock, wrap, cut, and maintain produce in line with the department’s required standards.
• Clean and sanitize the produce area at the end of each shift.
• Help keep the department running properly in the Produce Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
• Prior experience with wrapping and cutting produce, rotating inventory, and removing unsellable items from the department.
• Dependability in reporting to scheduled start times and completing assigned shifts.
