Role overview
HDFC Securities is hiring a Product Manager for its trading platform team in Mumbai (Andheri MIDC). The role focuses on shaping modern trading and investing journeys across mobile and web for active traders and investors.
You will be responsible for solving business challenges through digital product solutions, with ownership across the full trading lifecycle, including discovery, order placement, portfolio management, and related customer experiences. This position calls for strong product judgment, familiarity with broking workflows, and a strong focus on customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the product journey from identifying needs through to launch and ongoing improvement.
- Manage important trading areas such as Watchlist, Order Pad, Order Book, Positions, Portfolio, Funds, and Reports.
- Create product requirement documents, user stories, wireframes, and process flows.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Design, Business, Marketing, Growth, and Analytics teams.
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and data to guide product decisions.
- Track feature performance and refine the product experience over time.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in product management within a stock broking platform.
- Strong knowledge of Equity, Derivatives, and Mutual Funds.
- Prior work on mobile and web trading products.
- Solid understanding of trading charts.
- Practical experience with APIs, JIRA, and Agile ways of working.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Preferred background
- Experience with client-facing APIs, algorithmic trading, and WhatsApp integrations.
- Exposure to personalization, analytics instrumentation, and data-led product development.
