Role Overview
The Production Coordinator will act as an important bridge between Planning, Sourcing, and Merchandising teams. The position is responsible for keeping purchase orders accurate, monitoring production progress, and helping ensure products move through the supply chain smoothly from order entry to final delivery.
This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, pays close attention to detail, and can keep multiple production priorities organized at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, revise, and maintain purchase orders with accurate style details, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Track production schedules and follow up on deadlines across multiple vendors.
- Work with domestic and international vendors to release POs and monitor order status, milestones, and shipping timelines.
- Coordinate with Planning to make sure production supports inventory flow and expected delivery schedules.
- Raise early warnings about delays or risks that could affect stock availability.
- Help resolve production issues, reprioritize work, and adjust timelines when needed.
- Monitor vendor performance to support on-time and complete delivery.
- Act as a communication link between vendors and internal teams so everyone stays aligned on production and delivery updates.
- Develop strong working relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to improvements in purchase order handling, production tracking, and workflow efficiency.
- Take on other projects and duties assigned by the Production Manager.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain functions with growing responsibility.
- Knowledge of hard goods and soft goods manufacturing, including sourcing materials, lead times, and transit planning.
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders and order management tools.
- Experience working alongside Planning, Sourcing, and Inventory teams.
- Strong ability to manage projects and solve problems.
- Familiarity with ERP or MRP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and order tracking.
- Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Comfort working independently while owning critical process areas like PO management.
- Ability to adapt in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, non-exempt onsite role based at Rebel Athletic’s headquarters in Carrollton, Texas. The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven. Occasional overtime may be needed during peak production periods.

Compensation
