Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Role overview

Jasara Program Management Company is looking for a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor specializing in MEP works. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience handling cost and commercial functions on large construction assignments, particularly in hospitality and mixed-use developments.

What you'll do

• Measure quantities with precision and prepare BOQs and cost estimates for MEP scopes.
• Track project budgets and control MEP costs across the full project lifecycle.
• Assess subcontractor pricing and coordinate procurement activities.
• Handle contract administration, including variations, progress valuations, and final account close-out.
• Produce regular commercial updates and forward-looking cost forecasts.
• Spot commercial exposure and suggest practical cost-saving measures.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of the project while protecting quality, cost, and schedule targets.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of professional experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor.
• Direct experience on hospitality projects such as hotels and resorts, as well as mixed-use developments.
• Strong command of MEP quantity take-offs, cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Good working knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management practices.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/quantity surveying tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar software.
• Well-developed analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Additional information

This is a full-time on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
