Role Overview
The Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in day-to-day hiring operations, helping keep recruiting processes organized and moving smoothly. The position involves interview scheduling, candidate communication, record maintenance, reporting support, onboarding coordination, and credentialing assistance. It also offers exposure to resume screening and early candidate evaluation, making it a strong fit for someone looking to grow into a full-cycle recruiting career.
The role partners closely with candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, HR, and other internal teams. Success in this position depends on strong organization, clear communication, discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail. The coordinator is expected to support team goals, represent the company well, and help improve recruiting processes over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle recruiting-related questions submitted through the recruitment inbox, resolving them directly or escalating when needed.
- Review resumes and identify candidates who appear suitable for recruiter follow-up.
- Perform initial phone screens for entry-level positions and pipeline-building efforts.
- Assist with sourcing activities when additional support is required.
- Work with recruiters to keep pipeline information current and track candidate status.
- Arrange and coordinate phone, video, and onsite interviews.
- Keep candidate communication timely, professional, and positive throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate interview calendars and scheduling details.
- Support hiring managers with interview setup, logistics, and follow-up tasks.
- Update records accurately in the applicant tracking system.
- Contribute to recruiting reports and weekly status updates.
- Help identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and processes.
- Coordinate with recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to support daily recruiting activity.
- Monitor inbox traffic and respond promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain recruiting documentation in both internal and external trackers.
- Keep candidate communication timely and hiring records accurate.
- Share new hire information to help launch onboarding with IT, Training, and managers.
- Maintain electronic employee files and produce reports as needed.
- Respond quickly to requests and take a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Take part in team, department, and client meetings.
- Communicate professionally with candidates and vendors while representing the company.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned in support of department objectives.
- Demonstrate and reinforce company core values in daily work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, or administrative support.
- Demonstrated ability to protect confidential information and earn trust.
- Strong integrity and judgment when handling sensitive data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable asking questions to collect the information needed to move work forward.
- High attention to detail and a track record of accurate, timely work.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities.

Work Environment
This is a remote telecommuting role based in the United States. Working from home requires self-discipline and a dedicated workspace. Because the role is remote, frequent communication is important to keep teammates aligned on fast-moving updates.
