Role overview

Join the R&D group in Berlin’s technology hub and contribute to the development of software and hardware solutions for machine vision, robotics, autonomous systems, and industrial automation.

Key responsibilities

Create, manage, and deliver advanced systems and products for automation and robotics use cases.
Build manufacturing workflows that align with international engineering standards.
Work closely with fellow R&D engineers and technicians to plan and execute solutions.
Compile research findings, development outcomes, and test results into clear reports.
Review and interpret product development requirements.
Track maintenance schedules and inspection routines.
Design products for embedded systems and automation-oriented applications.

Candidate requirements

A degree in engineering, such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
Capability in architecture design across software, mechanical, or electrical domains.
Prior experience working as a research and development engineer.
Practical use of design and calculation tools.
Solid understanding of physics as applied to mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles relevant to product standards.
Additional familiarity with Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good organizational and communication skills.
