Retail Key Holder

Role Overview

Goodwill of Western New York is hiring a Third Key Holder for its Lockport, NY location. This position is a hands-on retail leadership opportunity where you will support store performance, guide team members, and contribute to the organization’s community-focused mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out opening and closing tasks for the store, including making sure the building is secured.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when required and help train Store Associates.
• Support a welcoming, efficient, and productive store atmosphere.
• Provide excellent customer support at the register, on the sales floor, and at the donation drop-off area.
• Assist with store activities such as merchandising, maintaining cleanliness, and executing promotions.
• Handle cash accurately and process POS transactions correctly.
• Review donated items and separate them into sellable, salvage, or discard groups.
• Price merchandise according to the provided guide and identify items with higher value.
• Work toward daily output targets while maintaining quality expectations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail keyholder experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet during shifts.
• Availability for evenings and weekends is required.
• Willingness to attend orientation in Buffalo for full-time employment.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. The employer also notes that compensation and benefits are reviewed regularly to stay competitive.
