Scrum Master

Role overview

We are hiring a seasoned and certified Scrum Master for a 6-month contract based in Sydney. The position calls for at least five years of direct Scrum Master experience, along with strong leadership and communication abilities. You will work closely with client stakeholders to help ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Guide Scrum teams and make sure Agile values and practices are followed consistently.
• Plan and run all core sprint meetings, including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare clear progress updates for stakeholders, including achievements, risks, and blockers.
• Stay actively involved in delivery to support the team in meeting its commitments.
• Coordinate resources effectively so the team can perform at a strong and productive level.
• Keep communication open with important client stakeholders and align work with their expectations and requirements.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent Agile certification.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
