Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst in Germany for a partner company that handles applications and all subsequent recruitment steps directly. This is a remote-friendly position in a fast-moving, data-led setting where your analysis will have a direct influence on product decisions, marketing performance, and regional strategy.
In this role, you will take ownership of analytics from start to finish: clarifying business needs, defining the right measures, checking data accuracy, and turning complex information into practical recommendations. You will collaborate closely with teams across the business to improve how performance is tracked across product engagement, marketing efficiency, and customer journeys.
The position suits someone who likes accountability, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and can improve reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical workflows in a scalable way.
Key accountabilities
- Lead analytical work end to end, from gathering the business question and setting metrics through to dashboard delivery, output validation, and continuous reporting improvements.
- Create, support, and refine automated Tableau dashboards and reporting tools for product, marketing, business, and regional stakeholders.
- Track data quality across different sources, spot mismatches, verify logic, and keep important metrics reliable and consistent.
- Work through data gaps and inconsistencies with stakeholders and engineering partners to align on a single version of the truth.
- Turn business questions into structured analysis and provide clear insights and recommendations that support decision-making.
- Review product and marketing performance to identify patterns, unusual shifts, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Assess traffic quality and business outcomes using metrics such as ROI, LTV, conversion, retention, and funnel performance.
- Strengthen analytics workflows, improve dashboard speed and usability, and help build a more scalable reporting foundation.
- Guide junior analysts by sharing practical knowledge in SQL, Tableau, data checks, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics, BI, product analytics, marketing analytics, or a similar field.
- Strong practical experience with Tableau, including building dashboards, improving performance, and managing data sources.
- Advanced SQL ability, including complex querying, work across multiple sources, and validation of data logic.
- Good understanding of core commercial metrics such as ROI, LTV, conversion, retention, and funnel performance.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and metric integrity.
- Experience working with stakeholders on requirements, expectation setting, and presenting findings.
- Ability to work independently, manage full projects, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and comfort handling ambiguous or complex business questions.
- Ukrainian or Russian language skills for internal communication.
- English proficiency at pre-intermediate level or above.
