Senior Storekeeper

Job Purpose

The Senior Storekeeper will be accountable for handling the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of inventory, while keeping stock records accurate and supporting SAP compliance, FIFO/FEFO practices, and efficient warehouse operations.

Role Overview

This position focuses on ensuring that beverages and supply items are managed properly across all warehouse activities. The role also includes leading storekeeping staff, maintaining stock control standards, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations in the distribution or warehouse environment.

Key Duties

• Manage the full cycle of receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring beverages and other inventory items.
• Supervise and support a team of storekeepers through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain stock levels by setting minimum and maximum thresholds, anticipating demand, and working with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and complete inventory checks to preserve record accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports covering stock levels, consumption patterns, and possible shortages to aid planning and decisions.
• Look for practical cost reduction opportunities that improve inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
• Keep the warehouse or distribution center clean, orderly, and safe while following company safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

Experience

Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
