About the company
The hiring company is a respected provider of HVAC, electrical, and security services. Known for quality workmanship and strong customer care, the business is expanding across South Australia and is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join the team.
The role
This position works alongside the Operations Manager and focuses on coordinating technicians, organising service schedules, and helping ensure jobs are delivered smoothly and on time. It is a busy, practical role that calls for excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange and manage schedules for HVAC, electrical, and security technicians.
- Handle day-to-day service bookings and assign jobs appropriately.
- Communicate with customers about appointments and job progress.
- Track work orders and follow jobs through to completion.
- Use SimPRO, or a comparable platform, to manage workflows and reporting.
- Support invoicing, purchasing, and general administrative duties.
- Assist the wider team in meeting deadlines and maintaining customer satisfaction.
About you
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in service coordination, scheduling, or service administration. Experience in HVAC, electrical, fire, security, plumbing, or another trade-based environment will be highly regarded. You should bring strong time management and organisational skills, a confident and customer-oriented communication style, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting. Familiarity with SimPRO or similar job management software is preferred.
