Site Planning Engineer - Client Billing & Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

The Site Planning Engineer, focusing on Client Billing and Quantity Surveying, is crucial for managing the financial aspects of construction projects. This role involves meticulously preparing and submitting client invoices that align with contractual agreements and the actual progress achieved on-site. Key responsibilities include precise quantity take-offs, reconciling project quantities, and maintaining comprehensive documentation that supports project timelines. The position ensures that site progress is accurately reflected in financial invoicing, thereby supporting both the planning and commercial departments.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly and milestone-based Running Account (RA) bills for client submission, ensuring alignment with verified site progress, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and contract terms.
• Collaborate with site execution teams to gather daily progress reports, conduct on-site measurements, and maintain up-to-date measurement records.
• Thoroughly review and interpret contract clauses related to billing, milestone achievements, and item rates to guarantee accurate and punctual billing submissions.
• Support the creation and maintenance of the project's billing schedule, integrating it with construction timelines, key milestones, and anticipated cash flow.
• Perform reconciliation of quantities between client-approved drawings (GFC), BOQs, and actual site execution to prevent discrepancies in billing, such as over-billing or under-billing.
