About the role

As a software engineer, you will contribute to important user experiences and help people find value in the product more quickly. The work involves taking on challenging problems with growing independence, writing code used by a large audience, making technical decisions, and contributing your viewpoint to product direction. You will collaborate with design, product, and data partners to help build the future of how people work.

This opening is for new graduate engineers across multiple teams. The recruiting team will work with you to identify the team that best matches your interests and where you can have the strongest impact.

What you will do

• Partner with teammates to define, design, build, and maintain new product capabilities from early idea to launch and ongoing improvement.
• Contribute to user growth and activation by improving onboarding experiences and experimenting with ways to help users find value sooner.
• Improve product speed, stability, and overall reliability, including refining existing features and fixing performance issues.
• Build internal utilities and automation that make the broader team more efficient and productive.
• Participate in technical decision-making and take ownership of projects that affect the product experience.

Qualifications

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, and must be able to begin full-time work before July 27, 2026. Prior internship experience is required. Candidates should also be developing proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.

• You enjoy building software for yourself or others and get satisfaction from creating useful tools.
• You are thoughtful about the relationship between technology and society and the responsibilities that come with building products.
• You appreciate the history of computing and are familiar with influential pioneers in the field.

Compensation

For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated annual salary range is $126,000 to $146,000. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, scope, complexity, experience, and expertise. The package may also include equity and benefits.
