About the Role
Snowflake is hiring a Solution Engineer to help drive adoption of the AI Data Cloud across enterprise customers. This position sits at the intersection of business and technology, working with sales teams and channel partners to shape strategy, support complex sales cycles, run persuasive demonstrations, and contribute to successful proof of concepts and deal closures.
The company is looking for people who are curious about AI, comfortable experimenting with new tools, and able to move quickly in a fast-changing environment. The role calls for someone who can speak confidently with executives as well as technical teams and translate between both audiences when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Showcase Snowflake’s technology and product vision, with an emphasis on the AI Data Cloud, to both executive stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
- Work closely with prospects and customers across the full sales journey, from live demos and proof-of-concept work through design discussions and implementation support.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape, including complementary technologies and vendors, and use that knowledge to position Snowflake effectively.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to help refine products and improve how they are positioned in the market.
Experience and Qualifications
- 3 to 6+ years of pre-sales experience in the industry.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage technical, business, and executive audiences, whether in formal presentations, demos, or spontaneous whiteboarding sessions.
- Hands-on understanding of value-based selling and structured sales frameworks such as MEDDPIC or MEDDIC for complex deal progression.
- Broad experience with data platforms, analytics, and cloud technologies, with deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to explain and showcase enterprise use cases for Generative AI and Machine Learning.
- Practical experience with modern AI/LLM ecosystems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and familiarity with open-source tools such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of how to work with and deploy large language models.
- Working knowledge of core data practices such as data modeling, data governance, and data engineering best practices.
- Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the Saudi market is preferred, ideally with current local presence.
- Arabic fluency is highly desirable and may be important for building trusted customer relationships in Saudi Arabia.
