Store Manager

About the role

Card Factory is hiring a Store Manager for its Sligo store in County Sligo, Ireland. This is a full-time, onsite position with a 42.5-hour working week.

In this role, you will lead the store team, help build a supportive and upbeat culture, and create an environment where both colleagues and customers feel valued. The position calls for a customer-focused leader who can make sound decisions, use data to guide performance, and keep the store moving in the right direction.

What you will do

You will be responsible for the store’s day-to-day leadership, including building a strong team, setting direction, and making sure the workplace is a place where people can do their best. Your duties will include hiring, coaching, merchandising, and payroll ownership.

You will also partner with District and Regional Managers to identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and recognition of success.

The ideal candidate will bring prior leadership experience and know how to get the best from a team. You should be comfortable leading by example, encouraging a high-performing culture, and supporting the development of others.

Strong communication skills are important, along with the ability to use technology and systems confidently in daily work. You should also be steady under pressure, flexible when priorities change, and able to keep a clear focus.
