Store Person

Role overview

We are seeking a capable Store Person to join the Mount Gambier team. This branch focuses on the repair and upkeep of heavy vehicles and supports equipment used in on-highway, forestry, agriculture, and power generation applications.

What you will do

• Collect parts from the warehouse, hand them over for use, and handle customer orders.
• Enter parts requests into the system and track their arrival and inspection in coordination with the wider team.
• Accept incoming deliveries, sort and label or pack items accurately, place stock in storage, and organize the storage layout to use warehouse space efficiently.
• Work closely with colleagues in parts, administration, and service functions.
• Carry out cycle counts and regular stock checks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping.

What is expected of you

• Hands-on forklift experience, along with a willingness to work reasonable overtime when needed.
• Prior experience in warehousing or stores work, ideally in a similar industry.
• Experience in a customer-facing role and working as part of a team will be an advantage.
• Strong computer ability, including intermediate-level Microsoft Excel, and the capacity to learn new systems and processes quickly.
