Role overview
Abbott Lyon is looking for a Styling & Production Assistant to keep products presented, prepared and managed to a consistently high standard across all creative content activity. This position takes ownership of everyday sample handling, styling support and studio readiness, while also serving as the Manchester studio’s product specialist and a key link to the London Brand team.
The role ensures that products are easy to find, correctly organised, well understood and accurately presented across campaign, social and eCommerce shoots. Working alongside Creative, Brand and Studio colleagues, the assistant helps content production move smoothly, supports launch communication and keeps styling quality consistent.
This is a practical, hands-on position that brings together product ownership, styling coordination and production support to help deliver polished creative content.
Product ownership and expertise
- Take responsibility for keeping all product samples in the Manchester studio organised and available.
- Act as the main product specialist for the Manchester Studio and Creative teams.
- Build a deep working knowledge of Abbott Lyon’s collections, materials, product features, personalisation options and unique selling points.
- Stay up to date on upcoming launches, collection refreshes and product changes.
- Make sure product information is shared accurately and clearly with the Studio and Creative teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for product-related questions within the studio function.
- Develop strong working relationships with the London Brand and Product teams to keep both locations aligned.
- Travel to London when needed to support collaboration, product immersion and launch planning.
Sample and product management
- Oversee the daily organisation, movement and tracking of all product samples.
- Keep sample inventories and storage systems accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate product requests from the Creative, Ecommerce, Brand, PR and Influencer teams.
- Pick and prepare items for campaign, social and eCommerce shoots.
- Ensure products are checked back in, tracked and fully accounted for after shoots.
- Identify and resolve product availability issues, escalating risks where needed.
- Support stock counts and regular sample audits.
- Keep sample storage areas tidy, logical and easy to work from.
Styling and product presentation
- Provide styling support across campaign, social and eCommerce shoots.
- Prepare product selections and styling pairings that reflect creative briefs and brand expectations.
- Make sure items are styled, shown and prepared to the highest standard before and during shoots.
- Assist photographers, videographers and creatives with styling needs on set.
- Build rails and assemble product selections ahead of production.
- Ensure all items are clean, polished, steamed and ready for camera use.
- Source styling props, assets and other shoot materials when required.
- Keep styling standards consistent across all content output.
- Handle the return of wardrobe purchases and loaned items after shoots, making sure everything is sent back correctly and on time.
Shoot preparation and production support
- Assist with planning and preparation for campaign, social and eCommerce productions.
- Coordinate styling and product requirements in advance of each shoot.
- Support the Creative Producer with logistics and pre-shoot setup.
- Provide on-set assistance during content production when needed.
- Help manage product swaps, styling adjustments and general shoot support throughout production.
- Make sure all products, props and styling assets are ready and available when required.
Studio management
- Take ownership of the studio’s organisation and overall presentation.
- Keep styling zones, sample storage and production spaces clean, well ordered and functional.
- Look after studio equipment, props and storage systems.
- Store products, packaging and production materials correctly.
- Support health and safety practices across the studio environment.
Administration and coordination
- Maintain product request records, movement trackers and sample logs.
- Assist with shoot schedules and production planning administration.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections and supplier needs where necessary.
- Keep production paperwork and studio records accurate and current.
- Support the wider Creative team with day-to-day operational coordination.

- Products and samples are consistently organised, accurate and ready when needed.
- Launches and collection updates are communicated effectively to the Manchester Studio team.
- The role becomes the trusted source of product knowledge for the Studio and Creative function.
- Styling standards stay consistent across campaign, social and eCommerce content.
- Shoots run efficiently because styling assets, products and logistics are prepared in advance.
- The studio remains orderly, operational and presentation-ready at all times.
- The London Brand team and Manchester Studio team stay well aligned.
- Product availability, sample handling and styling support are delivered with minimal mistakes or delays.
- Creative teams are able to focus on content creation because product and studio operations are reliably managed.
Required experience and capabilities

The role is based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom and is a full-time onsite position. Travel to London may be needed from time to time to support collaboration and launch planning.
