Role overview

Corlann is recruiting Support Workers for its services in Shannon, County Clare. The organisation is looking for energetic, motivated people who bring a positive approach to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and who are committed to helping each person live as independently, enjoyably, and meaningfully as possible.

This position is available across Residential and Day Service settings, with a range of permanent and relief contract options.

What the role involves

Support Workers act as a key point of support for a group of people using the service. The position involves delivering day-to-day personal care and supporting overall wellbeing, including meals, hygiene, and other physical care needs.

A major part of the role is also helping people develop and work toward their individual plans and the outcomes linked to those plans. Community involvement and social inclusion are another important focus, so the role includes encouraging participation in local activities and supporting integration into the wider community.

Contract details

Permanent and relief contracts are available in both residential and day service settings.
