Role Overview

This position is for a senior technical leader with deep VLSI domain expertise who can drive IP/SoC verification learning projects, guide trainers, and help shape advanced corporate training programs. The role combines technical mentoring, curriculum development, and delivery of industry-oriented training for experienced engineers.

Technical Profile

The ideal candidate should bring at least 15 years of experience in a VLSI product, services, or EDA environment. Strong working knowledge of DDR/LPDDR 4/5, USB 3 and later versions, PCIe 4/5, Ethernet, AMBA, and related SoC interface protocols is required. The profile also calls for solid experience in IP/VIP development, along with end-to-end familiarity with the product development lifecycle.

Hands-on exposure to IP, sub-system, and SoC verification across the full verification flow is important. The candidate should have extensive experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM. Experience in ASIC or FPGA implementation of any system or SoC will be considered an added advantage. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor teams, guide projects, and collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design IP and SoC verification projects as training case studies using Synopsys IPs and VIPs for corporate learning programs.
• Coach lead and principal engineers so they can independently deliver advanced VLSI corporate training.
• Deliver training to experienced corporate engineers on protocols such as USB, LPDDR, PCIe, Ethernet, AMBA, and broader SoC interface topics.
• Teach the methodology, workflow, and process used in IP/VIP development.
• Recruit new team members and develop them into capable expert trainers for corporate programs.
• Partner with the business development team to shape curriculum and build new advanced VLSI training offerings.
