The company is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help identify, attract, screen, and hire candidates for a range of technical positions. Responsibilities

  • Source, engage, and hire qualified candidates for technical and engineering roles, including embedded and safety- or mission-critical systems positions.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand the job requirements, team needs, and project context, then adapt sourcing and screening plans accordingly.
  • Run first-round phone and video interviews to evaluate technical fit, relevant experience, communication ability, and culture alignment.
  • Develop and maintain active talent pipelines through professional networks, technical communities, targeted online search methods, and other sourcing channels.
  • Prepare, publish, and update job postings on career pages, job boards, and niche technical recruitment platforms when needed.
  • Keep applicant and recruitment information accurate and current in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Help improve recruitment processes, sourcing approaches, and the overall candidate experience.
  • Take on other HR or talent acquisition tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience hiring for technical positions, or an educational background in an engineering field such as electrical, computer, software, systems engineering, embedded systems, or a similar discipline.
  • Ability to find technical talent through professional networking tools, Boolean search methods, web-based sourcing, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with modern ATS platforms for managing requisitions, candidates, and reports.
  • Strong analytical judgment and close attention to detail when reviewing technical profiles.
  • Good organization and time management skills, with the ability to juggle several open roles at once.
  • Capability to make practical, evidence-based hiring recommendations.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with engineers, managers, and candidates.
  • Self-driven, while also able to collaborate effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruitment background in electronics, aerospace, defence, automotive, or other high-reliability industries.
  • Experience working in regulated or safety-critical settings, including environments governed by ISO, AS9100, IEC, DO-178, or DO-254.
  • Familiarity with embedded software, firmware, and hardware development lifecycles.
  • Experience hiring for distributed or remote teams.
  • Exposure to technical screening approaches or partnership with technical interview panels.
