Job Summary

This position is for a technician supporting mall operations at Pasir Ris Mall. The selected person will help the CMO keep everyday building operations running smoothly and ensure that the property’s mechanical and electrical services remain in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular daily checks across the building and its M&E systems, including electrical, lighting, chiller controls, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, pumps, fire protection, BMS, and plumbing/sanitary systems, to spot any faults or abnormalities.
• Document breakdowns, unusual findings, defects, maintenance work, and stock inventory records.
• Respond to tenant feedback, complaints, and service requests, and make sure assistance is provided in a timely manner.
• Diagnose problems and attend to equipment failure calls.
• Complete assigned repair and rectification tasks promptly.
• Guide, oversee, and coordinate with contractors during routine servicing and urgent repair work.
• Handle operational issues and emergency situations quickly while keeping disruption and inconvenience to a minimum.
• Take on any other related duties or tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ideally, candidates should have around 3 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance within a shopping mall setting.
• Hands-on exposure to painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery work will be an advantage.
• A NITEC qualification in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Air-Conditioning, or a similar field is required.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is necessary. Shift timings are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.

This is a full-time onsite technician role in Singapore, supporting the operational upkeep of a mall environment. The role calls for prompt response, strong coordination with contractors, and consistent attention to building systems and tenant service needs.
