Warehouse Specialist

Role purpose

This position is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and controlling the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. The goal is to ensure efficient handling of materials, accurate stock records, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full flow of warehouse material administration for the company.
• Physically verify all incoming and outgoing goods and materials within the assigned area, while managing the warehouse employee.
• Maintain the warehouse and ensure proper handling and administration of materials.
• Check the quantity and quality of stored materials.
• Safeguard past and current records according to company standards, both in physical form and within the financial software system, and continuously review warehouse status in the database.
• Prepare the documents required for inventory processes and stock position tracking.
• Support the development and implementation of the inventory plan, follow the stocktaking process, and identify material needs in advance of potential requests.
• Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders involved in material supply to exchange the information needed for a successful process.
• Prepare reports for the supervisor covering completed work, issues encountered, and other tasks related to the role.
• Carry out additional projects and duties connected to the position for the overall benefit of the company.
• Train and guide new staff on warehouse processes and standards.

Qualifications and skills

Candidates should have completed secondary education; vocational education in economics is preferred. The role requires at least 3–4 years of work experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar position. Strong command of Microsoft Office and ERP systems is also needed.
