Role Overview

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer who will be responsible for architecting, developing, and sustaining secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructures that enhance software delivery and operational efficiency. The position focuses on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration platforms, and access management within Azure and OpenShift environments. Ensuring deployment reliability, security, and automation across multiple environments is critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines primarily using Azure and GitHub platforms.
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Deploy and automate hybrid cloud-native workloads utilizing Azure services and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) infrastructure.
• Provision platform environments spanning development, test, and production stages.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in cloud platform engineering or DevOps/DevSecOps roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance; Australian citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based at Homebush office with 2-3 days onsite per week.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas as required.

Preferred Attributes

• Familiarity with other cloud environments such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
• Proven collaboration skills working with diverse stakeholders including training, design, and project management teams.

Security Clearance Requirement

Due to partnerships with the Australian Department of Defence, candidates must be able to secure Defence Security Clearance. This requires Australian citizenship.
