About the Role
IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its luxury portfolio in Qatar and is hiring an experienced Guest Experience Agent for Kimpton Doha. The hotel is positioned near well-known attractions in the Qatari capital and will feature 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, along with a range of distinctive dining choices. This role suits someone who has worked in luxury or lifestyle hotel environments and is passionate about delivering memorable, high-touch service.
What You’ll Do
- Create memorable first impressions by greeting guests with a warm and professional welcome.
- Recognize returning guests and loyalty members both in person and over the phone.
- Handle guest reservations and process payments accurately.
- Make arrival and departure procedures smooth, efficient, and stress-free.
- Stay attentive to guest preferences and anticipate requests before they are voiced.
- Provide trusted assistance on matters such as billing concerns and dining suggestions.
What You Bring
- Strong communication skills and an approachable manner for handling both praise and concerns.
- Good judgment and problem-solving ability to turn service issues into positive outcomes.
- Fluency in the local language; additional language ability is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Solid literacy, numeracy, and comfort using computers and basic technology.
