About the internship
This internship is focused on interior design support for live commercial and hospitality-style briefs. You will help shape visual directions, concept ideas, and presentation-ready material for ongoing projects while working closely with the design team. The work involves both creative exploration and fast iteration based on feedback, with an emphasis on producing a high volume of polished output without losing quality.
What you will work on
- Create moodboards covering materials, colour directions, furniture choices, lighting, and styling for project briefs such as corporate, hospitality, and retail spaces.
- Develop early-stage design concepts, including space-planning approaches, zoning ideas, and overall look-and-feel directions.
- Collect, organise, and label references in the team’s library so they can be reused across future projects.
- Assist with visual and concept development for active projects, including client work such as Kohler, ARCIL, and similar assignments.
- Refine design outputs quickly in response to feedback while maintaining both speed and quality.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open only to candidates who can join as a full-time, in-office intern, are able to begin between 20 June 2026 and 25 July 2026, can commit for 2 months, and are based in Mumbai. Applicants should also have relevant interests and skills aligned with interior design.
Additional requirements
- Students pursuing or candidates who have recently completed Interior Design, Architecture, or Spatial Design are preferred; strong portfolios from Visual Design or Communication Design backgrounds are also welcome.
- A portfolio is expected, showing a strong sense of taste through moodboards, concepts, or studio/built work.
- Working familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion, and Photoshop is important; candidates from visual-design backgrounds may also use Figma or InDesign.
- The ideal intern should be quick, naturally curious, highly attentive to detail, and comfortable receiving feedback.
- The role requires full-time availability at the Malad office throughout the internship period.
Stipend and timeline
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 to 15,000. The application deadline is 20 July 2026 at 23:59:59, and the role starts immediately.
