Assistant Project Manager

About the Role

Allegiance Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established General Contractor in New York City. This company specializes in commercial interior projects across the five boroughs. Responsibilities

• Provide support to Project Managers on ongoing construction projects.
• Aid in the management of Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Facilitate coordination among subcontractors, vendors, and project timelines.
• Monitor project expenditures and financial tracking.
• Participate in site meetings and project inspections.
• Contribute to maintaining project schedules and budget adherence.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Prior experience with commercial interiors projects is mandatory.
• Proficiency in understanding construction documents and project administration processes.
• Demonstrated experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
• Must reside in or near the NYC metropolitan area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.

Additional Information
