Role overview

This full-time, on-site Driver position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be responsible for transporting company employees, visitors, and items to assigned destinations in a safe and timely manner, while observing traffic regulations and internal company rules.

Key duties

• Drive staff, guests, and materials to the required locations safely and efficiently.
• Check the vehicle before and after journeys to ensure it is fit for use.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and perform basic routine care.
• Report any mechanical concerns or faults without delay.
• Plan and adjust routes to reduce travel time and meet schedules.
• Ensure pick-ups and drop-offs happen punctually.
• Maintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel usage, and trip activity.
• Assist with logistics tasks, including deliveries and movement of documents when needed.
• Interact with passengers and coworkers in a polite, professional, and discreet manner.

Qualifications and expectations

• A valid Saudi Arabian driving license suitable for the vehicle type, along with a clean driving record and a strong safety mindset.
• Prior experience as a professional driver in a corporate, personal, or logistics setting is preferred, especially within Makkah or Saudi Arabia.
• Strong familiarity with Makkah roads, traffic flow, and local regulations, plus the ability to use navigation tools effectively.
• Capability to complete basic vehicle checks such as fuel, oil, tires, and lights, and to coordinate servicing or repairs with maintenance providers.
• Good communication and customer service skills for working respectfully with passengers at all levels.
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong time management to handle shifting priorities and schedules.
• Physical ability to remain seated for long periods and help with light to moderate loading or unloading as required.
• Basic reading ability in English or Arabic for instructions, route information, and documents; bilingual ability is an advantage.
• Willingness to follow company requirements related to safety, confidentiality, and professional appearance.
