AI Today is hiring a Junior Data Analyst for a part-time, on-site position in California, United States. The role is suited to someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable handling data, and interested in turning raw information into useful business insights.
What you’ll do
You will support the collection, organization, verification, and analysis of data across different sources to help teams make better operational, financial, and strategic decisions. The work involves preparing reporting outputs, keeping information accurate, and contributing to business intelligence efforts.
- Gather, organize, check, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
- Carry out data cleaning and validation to improve accuracy.
- Track data quality and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Assist with business performance analysis and insight generation.
- Help maintain databases and reporting systems.
- Support forecasting, planning, and process improvement tasks.
- Work with cross-functional teams on reporting and analytical needs.

The ideal candidate should be strong in analysis, quantitative thinking, and problem-solving, with a genuine interest in converting data into meaningful conclusions. You should be able to manage large datasets carefully while protecting data integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred background
A background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience in reporting, research, administration, operations support, data management, or analytical assignments is an added advantage. Exposure to SQL, reporting software, database tools, business intelligence platforms, data visualization software, or analytical applications will also be helpful.
