Role Overview
We are hiring a Junior UX/UI Designer to become part of a growing product and design function. This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates or professionals at the start of their careers who are excited about shaping easy-to-use digital products and polished visual experiences.
In this position, you will work alongside designers, developers, and product stakeholders to help create user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications. The role offers practical exposure to user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and interface design while contributing to live digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes for web and mobile products.
- Support the creation of clean, engaging, and easy-to-navigate user interfaces.
- Take part in user research and assist with usability testing exercises.
- Partner with developers to help ensure design intent is implemented correctly.
- Help maintain design systems and shared UI component libraries.
- Review feedback from stakeholders and refine designs based on input.
- Apply accessibility and usability standards throughout the design process.
- Contribute to user flows, personas, and information architecture work.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar discipline.
- A portfolio that includes academic, freelance, internship, or personal work.
- Practical knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or comparable design software.
- Foundational understanding of UX principles, visual composition, typography, and layout.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.
