Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join Facer remotely. This key position involves taking ownership and expanding the company's analytics and growth measurement capabilities. You will define key success indicators, build comprehensive dashboards, ensure precise data instrumentation, and collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to develop a strong data infrastructure. This pivotal role provides an opportunity to establish Facer’s foundational data practices, influence strategic decisions, and promote a data-driven culture throughout the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Growth Analytics, or similar roles, preferably in consumer technology or mobile app sectors.
• Advanced skills in SQL and data modeling, with experience in BigQuery or equivalent platforms.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or their equivalents.
• Hands-on experience using product analytics tools like Google Analytics and Firebase.
• Familiarity with attribution platforms including AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product and marketing teams to foster growth through data insights.
• Expertise in defining metrics, implementing tracking, and leading analytics initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to influence cross-functional decision-making.
• Experience managing analytics in multi-device environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of app intelligence platforms such as Appfigures is beneficial.
• Familiarity with experimentation methods like A/B testing and funnel optimization is preferred.
• Experience as the initial data hire in startups or high-growth companies is a plus.
• A strong passion for cultivating a data-informed culture and advancing analytics capabilities in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive analytics efforts across product development, marketing initiatives, and business operations to support strategic choices.
• Create, manage, and update KPI dashboards offering actionable insights for leadership and teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to establish detailed product instrumentation ensuring accurate and complete data.
• Analyze marketing funnels, paid campaign performance, and attribution data to optimize user acquisition and ROI.
• Maintain data integrity, quality, and accessibility across all platforms and reporting tools.
• Review the current analytics stack, including tools like Appfigures, Google Analytics, Firebase, BigQuery, and Looker Studio; lead tool migrations or the adoption of new software as necessary.
• Serve as the organization’s primary data expert by proactively identifying opportunities for data-driven enhancements and innovations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and refine analytics strategies that align with business goals.
• Implement best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting to foster continual improvement.
