Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Nairobi County, Kenya for a Mobile Application Developer. The selected candidate will create, improve, and support mobile applications that power Beba Fleet’s ride and delivery operations. The role focuses on delivering a secure, smooth user experience for rider, driver, and partner apps while working closely with product, design, and backend teams.

What you will work on

• Design and deliver new mobile app features that support Beba Fleet’s mobility and delivery products.
• Investigate and fix defects to keep the apps stable and reliable.
• Improve app speed, responsiveness, and overall performance.
• Turn product needs into scalable technical implementations with cross-functional teams.
• Take part in code reviews and uphold code quality standards.
• Develop unit and integration tests to support dependable releases.
• Contribute to clearer documentation, better development practices, and smoother release processes.

What the employer is looking for

• Practical experience building and maintaining production-ready mobile applications.
• Comfort working with modern mobile development frameworks and tools for Android and/or cross-platform apps.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns in mobile development.
• Exposure to iOS/Android development, including Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and the Apple mobile ecosystem, is beneficial.
