About the Role

MedTech Innovator is a leading life sciences accelerator focused on advancing human health by backing startups and growth-stage companies that are reshaping healthcare. The organization is hiring a Program Manager to help run the operational side of one or more innovation programs and strategic initiatives.

This position is centered on keeping programs moving smoothly: coordinating timelines, handling deliverables, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and supporting successful execution across partnerships and initiatives. It calls for excellent organization, a sharp eye for detail, flexibility, and the ability to balance several priorities in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

The right candidate is hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable partnering with internal teams, external collaborators, startups, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys creating operational systems, refining processes, and contributing to mission-driven innovation work.

Responsibilities may change as programs are launched, expanded, adjusted, or wrapped up.

Who You Are

  • You are highly organized, detail-focused, and confident in project and program coordination.
  • You can manage several deadlines and workstreams at the same time in a high-paced setting.
  • You communicate clearly and work well with both internal teams and external partners.
  • You are proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • You have interest in healthcare innovation, life sciences, technology, startups, research, public-private partnerships, or related areas.
  • You bring experience in program management, operations, partnerships, project coordination, grants or contracts administration, healthcare innovation, nonprofit programs, research settings, or similar fields.
  • Experience with grant-funded, contract-funded, federally supported, or compliance-heavy programs is preferred.
  • You are comfortable using operational tools, trackers, reporting systems, and process documentation.
  • You have working knowledge of tools such as Airtable, Google Workspace, Excel, Slack, Zoom, and similar collaboration platforms.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

What You’ll Do

Program Operations

  • Support daily execution across one or more programs or initiatives.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, workflows, and ongoing stakeholder tasks.

  • Spot process issues, risks, or bottlenecks and help drive practical solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional internal teams and outside partners to keep programs aligned.
  • Help improve efficiency and streamline operational processes across programs.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Manage scheduling, communications, and logistics among internal teams, outside partners, reviewers, consultants, startups, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with onboarding and coordination of subject matter experts, reviewers, consultants, and advisors.
  • Help maintain strong working relationships with program stakeholders.
  • Support participating organizations and partners by answering questions, coordinating logistics, and tracking deliverables throughout execution.

Application and Evaluation Support

  • Assist with building and running application materials, review workflows, evaluation processes, and stakeholder guidance.
  • Coordinate submission tracking, reviewer assignments, communications, and related operational work.
  • Help facilitate meetings and discussions, and prepare summaries, recommendations, and supporting documents.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare reports, presentations, summaries, and other program materials.
  • Keep program files, records, and documentation organized and accessible.
  • Track activities, deliverables, communications, and decisions to support program management and reporting.
  • Assist with closeout activities, lessons learned documentation, and performance tracking.

Meetings, Events, and Communications

  • Support planning and delivery of virtual and in-person meetings, workshops, webinars, showcases, and related events.
  • Coordinate agendas, meeting materials, schedules, and follow-up actions.
  • Represent the programs professionally in interactions with stakeholders and partners.

Why This Opportunity

  • Work on mission-driven programs with meaningful real-world impact.
  • Gain exposure to emerging technologies, startups, and the healthcare innovation ecosystem.
  • Join a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving environment.
  • Enjoy a fully remote setup with very limited travel, under 5% annually.
  • Help shape and support expanding programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with industry experts, innovators, partners, and cross-functional teams.
