About the Role
Join a results-driven and inclusive team dedicated to high performance and meaningful outcomes at a leading bank in the Americas. This position involves developing and maintaining applications utilizing Oracle and MS SQL databases based on specific business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support database applications leveraging Oracle and MS SQL platforms according to business specifications.
- Design and enhance data models, schemas, queries, and stored procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with application teams to maintain data integrity, security, and system availability.
- Identify and resolve database and application issues that impact critical business operations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to tailor database solutions aligned with project objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in database development.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and MS T-SQL programming and development.
- Hands-on experience in database development and performance tuning for Oracle and MySQL.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize data models, schemas, stored procedures, and functions.
- Familiarity with financial application environments.
- Experience working with large-scale Data Warehouse and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of advanced Reporting and Analytics techniques.
- Understanding and implementation of secure coding practices and data encryption methods.
- Experience with API and web application development is advantageous.
