Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Machine Operator at Prysmian’s Energy Plant in Liverpool, New South Wales. This position is offered with full training and onboarding, and an immediate start is available. The role supports major telecommunications customers across Australia.

Key Duties

• Operate machinery within the plant while following workplace safety rules and production procedures.
• Work in line with quality expectations and make practical decisions when checking product standards.
• Complete batch records and other required documentation accurately.
• Use basic computer tools, numeracy, and communication skills to support daily production tasks.
• Work independently and adapt to rotating shift patterns when needed.

Candidate Profile

• You should have a strong awareness of workplace safety and an understanding of procedures and compliance requirements.
• A current forklift licence is needed, along with at least 2 years of forklift experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are important, along with basic literacy.
• You need to be comfortable with basic mathematics and simple computer use.
• Attention to detail, sound judgement on quality matters, and the ability to work without close supervision are essential.
• You must be flexible to work any shift, including day shift from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and night shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
